How to Turn Your Blog into Valuable Sales Support and Reference Tools

Many marketers and organizations deploy blogging strategies with the goal to increase web traffic and subscription to their websites. However, there is more you can do with your valuable content to maximize your efforts in deploying effective blogging strategies. Here are the top 4 things you can do to turn your blog into sales support and reference tools.
Reference Guide
Convert some of your best blog posts into single page reference guides. Create a reference library page on your website and let your visitors download the guides in exchange for providing you basic contact information, such as email address and company name.
E-Book
Compile and group some of your relevant blog posts into an E-Book. Use the E-Book as a promotional offer or giveaway. A well-designed E-Book adds instant creditability to you, your company and your brand; but only if it’s well designed. If you don’t have great design skills, I would highly suggest hiring a designer to create a template for you.
Customer Support Library
Use the blog as a resource library for customer service and support. Train your customer service representatives on your blog’s valuable content so they can reference relevant blog posts to answer customer’s commonly asked questions.
Sales Reference Tool
Train your sales staff to use the company blog as a key educational resource for prospects and clients. This is particularly important if you are in the B2B business where at the start of the sales cycle there is a lot of education and hand-holding with your prospect. Your ability to demonstrate quick answers with reference to your blog shows expertise and adds instant credibility.
